Welcome to Strawberry World. Strawberry World and its Partners provide their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit or make a reservation at Strawberry World you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. In addition, when you use any current or future Strawberry World service or visit or purchase from any business partnered with Strawberry World whether or not included in the Strawberry World Web site, you also will be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to such service or business.

PRIVACY POLICY

Does Strawberry World collect any personal information about you?
When you browse our site, we do not collect personal information about you. The only way we receive any kind of personal information is if you give it to us on a contact or reservation request page.

To book a flight or holiday with us, we will require some information about you to deal with your booking as smoothly as possible. This information may include such details as your name, your address and your credit card details. We pass on your information to third parties only for the purpose of completing your transaction with us, providing the above services to you and for the purposes of associated administration.

Where is your personal information stored?
All personal information is stored in secure databases within a secure environment to prevent unauthorised access.

CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel
If you want to cancel your flight and other travel arrangements (other than car rentals*), you must send us a cancellation instruction in writing, signed by the same person who made the booking form for the flight and other travel arrangements. This instruction must be sent to our Administration Department by recorded delivery (the address is on your booking confirmation). Cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your written cancellation instruction. If you fail to make payments to us in accordance with these Booking Conditions we may treat this as a cancellation by you.
If you cancel your flight and other travel arrangements (other than car rentals*) at any time after your booking has been accepted by us, then you must pay us a charge to compensate us for the expense and losses which we will incur as a result of your cancellation. We start to incur costs from the moment you make the booking. The closer your cancellation is to the departure date, the less likelihood there is of us being able to recover those costs by re-selling the flight and other travel arrangements at the website price. That is why our cancellation charges increase the closer the cancellation is to the departure date.. If you have to cancel for a reason covered by your insurance policy you should be able to recover your cancellation charges. The cancellation charges will be calculated in accordance with the table below and will be notified to you by us following your cancellation instruction. Where one or more members of a party which has booked a flight and other travel arrangements together wishes to cancel his or her flight and other travel arrangements, but the remaining members of the party do not, then the cancellation charge will be based upon the price of that persons or those persons' flight and other travel arrangements.
The amount of cancellation charges applied depend on the time before departure. The cancellation charges are levied as a % of your total flight and travel arrangements cost (excluding insurance premiums). The fee charged will be dependant on the number of days prior to your departure that we receive your cancellation instruction, as highlighted below:
56 days or more : 10% or deposit if greater
56-29 days : 50% or deposit if greater
28-22 days : 70% or deposit if greater
21-15 days : 80% or deposit if greater
14-1 days : 100% or deposit if greater.

Please note: Cancellations are not in any way a profit centre for us and if we receive a cancellation our sole endeavour is to complete the necessary steps without any duress for either party.

CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING

If you wish to make changes to your booking
If after booking, you or any member of your party are unable to proceed with the flight or other travel arrangements (other than car rentals*), you can transfer the booking to a substitute person, providing they satisfy all the conditions applicable to the package and your request is received by us at least 14 days prior to departure. Notice must be in writing signed by the Lead Name and accompanied by a GBP 25.00 administration fee per transfer. Both the person taking and the person leaving the booking will be responsible for paying any additional costs arising from the transfer.
Important Note: Name changes or departure changes are not always permitted by the carrier (the company that provides your transportation). We will do our best to help you, but most carriers treat name changes as cancellations and charge accordingly. These charges will be passed on to you. Once airline tickets have been issued, any changes made to the ticket may result in you having to pay for the cancelled ticket and purchasing a new ticket at full cost.
Other changes to your booking will incur a GBP 15.00 administration fee.
If the size of your party reduces then we will re-calculate the cost of the flight and other travel arrangements for those who are still going. Prices for revised bookings will be calculated at the prices in force at the time you make the change and not those applicable to the original booking. The price of your flight and other travel arrangements may increase to reflect the changes requested by you. For example, increasing the length of your stay may mean that aircraft seats go empty and we may have to buy extra seats. Before confirming any change we will inform you if there is a change of price. Please check whether your flight and other travel arrangements insurance will cover any charges or increased costs resulting from a change.
If you want to make changes while you are abroad we will do our best to help. These changes are subject to availability and must be paid for locally.
Requests for changes to your booking should be sent to our Administration Department (the address is on your booking confirmation) or emailed to us.

*CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS FOR CAR RENTALS

We are well aware that changes sometimes have to be made to a holiday schedule and we will do our utmost to accomodate any changes you may want to make regarding your car rental. If you want to change the delivery location or type of car, please advise us as soon as possible. We will confirm that the requested change has been accepted and made. If their is a price difference, we will make the necessary adjustment to your payment. If you need to cancel your reservation before the rental period begins, you will receive a full refund, promptly and with NO charges.

COMPLAINTS AND RESOLUTION

If you have a complaint
If you have a complaint, you must tell a Strawberry World representative or agent immediately.

If we cannot resolve the problem for you at the time you must write within 35 days of your return to Mr. Michael Heavey at our Customer Services Department at Strawberry World, Rua do Gorgulho, Centro Comercial Eden Mar, Loja 25, 9000-107 Funchal, Madeira - Portugal.

If you do not tell us about your complaint our ability to investigate it could be seriously hampered. Because of this, unless there is a valid reason why you did not tell us about your complaint, we will not consider ourselves liable for those complaints.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE PAYMENTS

Strawberry World has a wide range of options available for you to make payments. Whilst we are of the opinion that the safest possible method of payment is through our 'Safe Server', we do of course understand that not everyone uses credit cards or you may simply prefer to pay in a manner more comfortable to yourself. So here are your options:

Safe Server (SSL)
Once you have made a reservation you will be directed to a page on our 'Safe Server' which utilises medium grade encryption. You can enter and send us your credit card details with total security. This is safe data transfer and you can rest assured that absolutely no-one will be able to access your personal details.

Bank Transfer
You can ask your bank to transfer the payment from your account into ours. Our bank details will be given to you on receipt of your reservation request. Once we receive your statement or proof of transfer, we go ahead and make your reservation for you.

What about confirmation?
Due to the nature of our 'Tour Operator' contracts, we can only book accommodation and flights for you once we have received your payment.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

When you visit a Strawberry World web site or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Strawberry World or its content suppliers and protected by Portuguese and international copyright laws. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AND PRICES

Strawberry World and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, Strawberry World does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Occasionally, for reasons beyond our control, pricing inaccuracies or other errors may be generated. So all reservations submitted through the web site are screened prior to our acceptance.

If an items correct price is lower than our stated price, Strawberry World will charge the lower amount and confirm your booking.
If an items correct price is higher than our stated price, Strawberry World will, at its discretion, either contact you for instructions before confirming your booking or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

We have taken reasonable steps to ensure the information provided by us on this Web site is accurate at the time you view it. However, we cannot and have not checked the accuracy of all information provided by outside sources or by the providers of other information e.g. currency conversion rates, or of other parties linked to or from the Web site.

All such information is provided in good faith and Strawberry World excludes liability for any errors, omissions or misleading information (unless made recklessly or fraudulently) to the maximum extent permitted by law, together with all implied warranties in connection with such information.
